I posted info about this new product in January and have had several questions about what it looks like printed on canvas so wanted to share these photos. This is a HUGE canvas collage that displays over 40 pictures on one canvas. Such a memory maker. I love it!
This collage can be printed on a canvas in any size: 12×18 inches…up to billboard size!
I printed this series on a canvas for my parents and my in-laws in the small (12×18 inch) size. There are other beautiful grandchildren on both sides and wall space must be shared — therefore, I do not want to give them an overwhelming wall collage. The smaller size will fit nicely in a bookshelf and look attractive without taking over the room. For our own home, I would like to do a family collage and print it on a larger canvas to fill up some empty wall space. I’m excited for the project!
I would love to do a triple photo session at various locations over the course of weeks (even months) and put the images all together in this large collage. If you are interested in doing this, let me know. I would be happy to discuss options with you! Click on the contact link at the top and send me a note…thanks!

2010 is turning out to be a very busy year! I am now booked through May so if you would like to schedule a session please plan for this summer/fall and let me know your date asap.
I am working on many client galleries right now (engagements, newborns, kids, families). I feel so blessed to do this work and love getting to know such wonderful people! There are many new pictures (taken in the last few weeks) that I’ve fallen in love with and I really need to get around to updating my website, blog, and marketing materials. So much to blog and not enough time to upload all the images that I want to share (hopefully I will catch up with this in the summer months).
And of course, a blog post is never complete without a picture - here’s Ms M looking very stylish for spring…

Just for fun. Nothing like a little laugh/nice distraction on a busy day! Check out this site:

Scroll through a few pages. Some of the pics are quite funny (others not so much so scroll on). Enjoy the awkwardness – and please…don’t get any ideas for your next photo session!

At the end of my photo session last night we finished things off with a good ‘ol MESSY watermelon picnic. Delicious! The kids loved it and I was thrilled with their expressions. Picture perfect. Before we cut open the giant fruit, we couldn’t resist this picture…

not an entirely new idea – but still fun!
The watermelon was a tad over 16 pounds. Any guesses on what baby O’s birth weight will be? We should start a contest.
Now for the juicy fun…

You can see the juicy deliciousness of this melon. It was so juicy that the boys couldn’t even sit down to eat it. They had to stand up and hold the fruit out away from them so that the juice could land on the ground. Their shirts were still covered after only piece.

More pictures from this family session to come!
Also – baby O will have her newborn photo shoot in April so you will see this family grow to a happy SIX very soon.

What should we wear? Always the big question in planning a family photo session. I’ve decided to share some different ideas of how a family may coordinate clothing. Every few weeks I will post a new family ensemble. The collections you see on my blog are simply for inspiration (please don’t go out shopping to hunt down the exact pieces you see here…not a fun task). The easiest way to plan clothing for a family photo shoot is to use the same approach as if you were putting a single outfit together. Make sure the colors blend and compliment – but mix it up a bit and make it fun. Once you have the main pieces coordinated (like you see here) consider adding a few extras (a statement necklace for mom, a knitted hat for one of the kiddos, etc).
p.s. If you are having a slow start, pick one pattern piece and pull the colors from that piece to put everything else together. Notice in this collection all of the colors are pulled from the little girls madras shorts.
