One of the wishes on her 30 days list: paint pink toenails
So we did…and then we painted fancy nails in her ‘Wonderful World of Fashion’ book (best coloring book ever)…it’s an interactive coloring/design book for fashionistas of all ages…packed with beautiful and sophisticated illustrations created by illustrator Nina Chakrabarti. The book encourages creativity, with illustrations to color and designs to finish off, as well as simple ideas for making and doing (how to make a sari, turn a napkin into a headscarf, dye a T-shirt and so on). Every.single.page is a fresh canvas ready for color + creativity.
Today she found a page full of fashion nails – perfect canvas for a girl who loves nail polish (less mess than real fingers and unlimited artistic freedom).
This is no ordinary coloring book. The paper is thick and has a perfect ‘tooth’,which makes filling in the spaces with crayons or colored pencils a sensual pleasure. (Yes, really!) The line drawings are amazing – full of vintage + modern inspiration and detail. We are in love! Every night the 2 of us we have a coloring date and live out our fashion designer dreams.
