Super chic necklaces, right???

Made out of gumballs!

Kinda sticky, yes – but cute nonetheless!

Our days are getting extremely busy as we prepare to move so this was a quick outing…but a perfect escape from packing + cleaning.  Thankful to have moments like this in the midst of chaos!

Love my sweet girlies.

Carnival games?  Yes, please!

We’re total suckers for rides, games, and cotton candy.

Tonight we took off for adventures in the vertical world of rockclimbing.  Madelyn was brave and amazing!  She climbed over 30 feet without hesitation.  I took a few pics while she was just getting started and then packed up my camera so that I could responsibly belay for the climb.
Proud of you girl!

After a long day of work, there was little time for an outing tonight but we managed to sneak over to Trader Joes for a few minutes.  It was a short frame of time together but special nonetheless.  TJ is always a favorite errand and I’m thankful to have these pics documenting our everyday life.

Mad loves the mini shopping carts.  I love the wine.  We both love the free samples.  It’s a fun way to shop for groceries!

Tonight: Hungry Hungry Hippos marathon - Madelyn’s choice

Tonight we had a farewell party with dear friends.  Cake, ice cream, and swimming – what could be better?
Ice Cream with a toppings bar and Mind Over Batter cupcakes were a perfect combo.  Delishhhh!
It was a wonderful evening…but not easy to say goodbye to our Arizona people.  Moving has it’s challenges for sure! We have great things to look forward to in Minnesota but there is so much that we will miss about this place that has been our home for 11 years.
I took very few pictures tonight so it was a stretch to put this collage together.  Mostly details of the food (which I took beforehand) — but the pictures that I did not take are the ones I will remember best.

- ‘old’ preschool friends reconnecting and catching up about life in kindergarten (AZ schools start in July/Aug so Mad’s preschool pals have already started kinder)
- special cards and thoughtful gifts
- a group of of 5 year olds studying a U.S. map and tracing a path from AZ to MN
- friends embracing extra tight and holding on longer than usual
It was one of those times that I wanted to leave my camera behind and enjoy the moments in front of me – so I did.
Many thanks to the Zurga family for hosting this party!  We are so very grateful for amazing friends.
